Depending on your personal training goals, your dog's age and your own schedule availability, we have a training service that will fit your individual needs.
Group Classes
Our classes emphasize individual attention and focus on specific training goals. We keep our student to teacher ratio low to ensure that you get the best training assistance available in the Portland area.
| Puppy Preschool | Get your puppy started on the right paw! Our Puppy Preschool program is designed to give your young (8 to16 week old) dog the solid foundations in socialization and good-manners skills which will serve them for the rest of their lives. Classes are on rotating schedule, allowing you to join us on any given week. |
| Family Dog 1 | The focus of our Family Dog 1 program is to teach you how to train your dog to become a well-behaved member of your family. Small classes ensure that you and your dog are given lots of personal attention, keeping training fun and challenging for you and your dog. |
Private Lessons
Are you looking for a way to fit training into your busy schedule? Is your dog having a behavior problem that has you at the end of your rope? Do you want a well-behaved dog but don't have time for a class?
If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, our private session services could work for you. Please contact us to see which of these programs best suits your needs.
| Gradual Desensitization Package | Our most frequently requested service, this package helps you work with your dog through a specific behavior problem. The service includes a comprehensive longer start-up meeting, followed by a set of five shorter sessions to work on your training challenge, evaluate progress and give you training advice as your dog's training progresses. |
| Private Obedience Classes | Do you want to get the benefit of the skills you can learn from a class, but want to do it on your own time? Then a Private Obedience Class is for you. This one-on-one class can either focus on the activities in our Family Dog program or we can focus on your own individual dog's needs. You get the all the benefits of a structured class, with flexible scheduling and locations. Group discount rates are available if a friend joins you as well. |
| Private Behavioral Consultations | Our private consults are designed to focus on one or more individual training challenges you are facing with your dog. Depending on your dog's training needs, we may recommend either a single session or a set of sessions, to help you learn how to train your dog towards better behavior. All consults include e-mail and/or phone follow-up assistance afterwards. |
Ongoing Assistance
After your private consult or between your classes, we are here to answer you questions via phone or e-mail. As our client, if you have any concerns, reach a difficult point in training, hit a road-block or simply have a question about how to approach a problem you are experiencing, we are here to help you.
